Good For Rutgers is Bad for Penn St.

Score: 71
August 10, 2009 10:42 am

As we keep making strives in the recruiting area of the Tri-State area we got notice that a 4 star corner Darrel Givens is very near to comitting to Rutgers. On National Signign Day Givens was headed to Penn St. but stories of problems has made Givens to reconsider and he has come to Rutgers.  With his cancellation visit to North Carolina this would almost secure Scarlet Knights Givens after theyd offered a chance to enroll and practice right away.
Here is some back ground of Givens,  6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back from Indian Head, Md., is a four-star recruit from the Class of 2009 on both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He also played in the Under Armor All-American Game.

Top 4 seeds in BE Tourney?

Score: 28
February 16, 2009 3:45 pm

Well we are about 2/3 of the way through the toughest BE season in recent memory, maybe ever.  i was curious about predictions on how this would play out through the rest of the regular season.  as we all know the top 4 get a bye not just in the first but also in the second round of the tourney.

are their any predictions out there?

I would say: 1) UCONN 2) Louisville 3) Pitt 4) Villanova

I know Marquette has a 2 game lead on Nova right now but, Nova won the head to head and Marquette still has games against UCONN and Syracuse and road games at Louisville and Pitt.  i don't think there is any way they can win 2 of those 4 not to mention the fact that they might not win their other games (esp. at Georgetown).

Any thoughts?

Ville V.s Pitt 'No Team Get's A Day Off'

Score: 19

To be honest any one thinking that Pitt is going to just run over Louisville you really need to sit down and wacth the cards play some ball. Every game in the Big East minus USF will be any thing but easy. Yes Pitt is a respectable #1 but unlike UNC they don't play in a confrence were it is possible to win every game. Pitt and the Ville will be another close came that will 9 times out of 10 go in to over time. Freedom hall will be painted with red and black from wall to wall and the arena will be as loud as it was last year when Coach Pitno (A.K.A The God Father) came out in his all white suit and lead the cards over Uconn. This will be another instant classic. I will have to say Louisville wins by 4 in over time 88-84. As long as the cards keep up the good work they should beat Pitt. Then agian even if they do nothing easy in the Big Beast Confrence

Big East Basketball

Score: 10
January 10, 2009 9:26 am

The BE season has started, it looks like the BE is on its way to having 8-10 bids.  I'm interested to see what bubble teams step up, like Cincy, Provy, WVU those are the dangerous teams in the conference.  There are IMO 8 bids that are locks in Pitt, UConn, Cuse, Gtown, ND, Marquette, Nova and Louisville.  WVU, Provy and Cincy are going to fight for 2 bids.
